Tire warranty policy.
Review warranty coverage, inspection requirements, compensation and the objection process. Keep this page with your purchase invoice for future reference.
This policy explains warranty eligibility for tires purchased from Alyazidi Trading Co. or its authorized agents, as well as the claim and compensation process. Coverage applies to manufacturing defects under the conditions below. Non-tire products are outside the scope of this policy.
Eligibility
- Eligible customer: The warranty applies only to the original purchaser named on the invoice and cannot be transferred.
- Compatibility: The tire must meet the vehicle manufacturer's specifications for the vehicle on which it is fitted.
Coverage & duration
Coverage applies only to tires taken out of service because of a manufacturing defect, for the following periods:
From the tire's production date (DOT), or until tread depth reaches 1.6 mm, whichever comes first.
From the purchase date shown on the invoice.
From the purchase date shown on the invoice.
From the purchase date shown on the invoice.
These periods define warranty coverage and do not necessarily indicate the tire's expected service life.
Claim requirements
To begin a technical inspection, please meet these requirements:
- Provide the original purchase invoice, electronic or printed, compliant with Ministry of Commerce requirements.
- Bring the vehicle and the affected tire for inspection so its mechanical components can be checked.
- The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in the vehicle must be working properly.
- Deliver the tire to an Alyazidi service center or an authorized center. If no center is nearby, transporting the tire and approving the claim may take around two weeks.
The company is not required to provide a replacement tire during inspection.
Inspected tires are kept for seven days only. If the customer does not make contact, they are disposed of under applicable environmental rules.
How compensation is calculated
If a claim is approved, compensation is calculated from the remaining tread depth:
- The compensation ratio is multiplied by the tire's base price at purchase, excluding VAT.
- The customer pays VAT, removal, fitting, balancing and any other charges.
- The company determines the settlement method: a new tire of the same type or an equivalent size, or a cash payment based on the eligible ratio.
- Replaced tires for which compensation has been paid become the property of Alyazidi Trading Co.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following, among other cases:
Road damage
Punctures, cuts and bulges caused by potholes or impact with hard objects.
Misuse & poor maintenance
Severe underinflation or overinflation, overloading and exceeding the tire's speed rating.
Vehicle issues
Incorrect wheel alignment, suspension faults or bent rims.
Improper repair
Repairs carried out incorrectly or the use of liquid puncture sealants.
Run-flat tires
Driving without air beyond the manufacturer's recommended distance, or prior repair.
Other exclusions
Intentional damage, uneven wear, racing or improper storage.
Noise or vibration comfort complaints are not accepted once the tire has worn by more than 1 mm from its original condition.
Objections & complaints
- The company may reject a claim that does not meet the conditions and will explain the reasons to the customer.
- A customer may object to an inspection result once per tire.
- An objection must be submitted within five business days of notification of rejection.
- Send the objection by email with supporting photos and reasons. A response will be provided within five business days.
Keep the purchase invoice and tire covered by the claim. You can submit your request at one of our Alyazidi branches.
